Sins of a Solar Empire II Launches This Summer on Steam

Today, Stardock and Ironclad Games have announced that Sins of a Solar Empire II will finally arrive on Steam this Summer after launching in early access Technical Preview around a year and a half ago on the Epic Games Store.

With new ways to play, new tactical options, and new strategic elements, the time is right to bring Sins of a Solar Empire II to a new audience on Steam. We’ve spent the past year bringing free monthly content updates to the game on the Epic Games Store, where it’s been positively reviewed by fans, and look forward to sharing all that work with Steam players while continuing to bring even more new content to the game.

UPDATED VO AND MUSIC SYSTEM - All new voice-overs will be included, along with new race-specific music that reacts to the action. DAMAGE FX SYSTEM - Watch your large units and structures take visible damage in combat.
MODDING TOOLS - Modders can look forward to the official release of the modding tools to help bring their creations to life. MORE ENVIRONMENTS, PLANETS, AND MAPS - Discover new planet types and non-colonizable anomalies like comets and wormholes across over a dozen new maps
