Samsung has pioneered the foldable market ever since the release of the first Galaxy Z Fold, and thereafter, the company has been ensuring that you get the best products in the market. Today, a new patent shows how the South Korean tech giant's upcoming rollable and foldable tablet could look like. If you are a tablet user, then this is a great thing that you can look into, as it will give you insight into what the company might be working on.

A pocket-sized foldable tablet from Samsung is just what we need for our productivity

The patent was revealed thanks to David from xleak7, which sheds light on what future Samsung tablets could look like. Given that patents are filed all the time, I would highly suggest that you take this with a grain of salt. However, considering how there are so many excellent foldable products in the company's foldable portfolio, I would not be surprised if they end up being accurate.

The patent renderings show a display without any external display. You will be able to unfold the device, where you will see the rollable section on one side of the internal display. You will also be able to expand the screen size and turn this Samsung device into a full-sized tablet, which sounds like something that is very, very convenient. I cannot wait to see how this turns out going forward.

Another thing to note is that this Samsung patent shows a display device comprised of a first body and a second body connected via the hinge. There is also a support plate and a display panel. The one thing that makes this tablet very interesting is the fact that there is a second body with two parts. Both parts are attached in a way that they can slide around. The design allows the second part to easily slide out from the first part, which exposes more of the screen.

This Samsung tablet also shows the support plate, which has a bendable portion placed between two flat portions to allow the tablet to bend with ease. Again, this is just a patent, so it might be difficult to understand just how exactly it is going to work.

After going through the patent renders, it is safe to say that this device from Samsung is going to be a pocket-sized tablet. This makes perfect sense since tablets are normally on the larger side, so Samsung working on something smaller and easily pocketable is definitely what many people would want in the market. As far as the release date is concerned, it is still too early to say anything, but I am really hoping that the company brings something out soon, even if it's just a teaser.
