The investment big companies are making on the AI front is not slowing down as the tech giants are continuously looking for ways to improve user experience and evolve their technology. Samsung is no different, and with time, it has taken a more aggressive approach with its Galaxy AI features. The company keeps building on its devices' experience to have an edge over the competition. Now, reports are emerging that the South Korean giant is exploring ways to let users use their phones without the need to go to the Settings menu.

Samsung is working on an AI feature that will change how users interact with their settings option

Samsung has introduced many AI-infused capabilities, especially in the last year. It has significantly improved personalization options, camera performance, and multi-tasking ability. The core of its ecosystem seems to be Galaxy AI, wherein constant upgrades are added to improve user experience.

According to ET NEWS, the South Korean tech giant is said to be working on a fresh AI experience that will revamp how users interact with their phones. Samsung intends to remove the need to constantly engage with the Settings menu to make any changes with the help of artificial intelligence. The report states that the company plans to introduce an AI feature that will predict users' needs based on touchpoints or the usage patterns generally observed to detect what they want to change or tweak.

Samsung's pivot in this direction would be huge, as it would mark a significant advancement in user experience by automatically adjusting settings. Currently, Bixby offers the same facility, which is to change settings by voice commands, but it is not a smoother experience as it requires manual activation and specific commands to be entered. In comparison to the current offering, the AI feature is more advanced as it can automatically change settings by user interaction with the phone.

If this AI experience is well executed, it could serve as a game changer and revamp how users engage with their smartphones. Companies are generally rushing to roll out AI products even if they are not ready to be launched yet, resulting in an experience that is not the most optimal. We hope Samsung will not rush to bring it to the market but instead focus on giving a finished product.
