Samsung Debuts Five New 2026 Odyssey Gaming Monitors; 27-32", IPS and QD-OLED Panels, 165-1040 Hz Refresh Rate, and Latest DP 2.1 Interface
Samsung has introduced a brand new Odyssey gaming monitor lineup, featuring five new high-end monitors, bringing leading specs and features for enthusiasts. The 2026 Odyssey monitors push the boundaries, which Samsung's Executive VP, Hun Lee, says "weren't possible" a year ago. The new lineup brings one model in the Odyssey G9, one in the Odyssey G6, and three in the Odyssey G8 series.

Meet the Odyssey 3D G9 gaming monitor (G90XH), which is the world's first 3D 6K gaming monitor. It boasts a 32-inch display with an IPS panel and offers a real-time eye tracking technology to adjust the depth and perspective in visuals according to the viewer's position. The monitor boasts a dual-mode configuration, offering up to 165Hz refresh rate at 6K resolution, and up to 330Hz at 3K with just 1ms GtG response time.
Next is the Odyssey G6 (G60H), a 27-inch high-refresh rate IPS panel that reportedly reaches a staggering 1,040 Hz refresh rate at HD. The monitor also boasts a 2K@600Hz configuration for those who want vivid visuals but want to retain highly fluid gameplay. Then we have the Odyssey G8 series, which offers three new gaming monitor models, ranging from 27-inch to 32-inch screen sizes.
The first one is the G80HS, which delivers a 32-inch IPS display with dual mode offering 6K@165Hz and 3K@330Hz display modes. Then we have the G80HF, which is a 27-inch monitor with an IPS panel, boasting 5K resolution at 180Hz. Users can switch to 2K@360Hz mode for more fluidity that helps in competitive gaming scenarios. The G60H, G80HS, and G80HF are equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and are also G-Sync compatible for tear-free visuals.
Lastly, we have the Odyssey G8 (G80SH), which is a 32-inch monitor, boasting a QD-OLED panel. It offers a 4K resolution and up to 240Hz refresh rate for those who want deeper contrast and good fluidity in gameplay. The monitor brings 300 nits of brightness and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification for bright and vivid visuals. Plus, it's equipped with the DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 port for compression-free visual quality.
All these monitors will be showcased at the CES 2026 event, which will be held in Las Vegas from January 6 to January 9, 2026.
