While this was almost a given, it's still reassuring to hear it from the horse's mouth. On their twitter account, Samsung UK has confirmed that the Galaxy S2 will be receiving the Android 4.0 update, something it truly deserves. However just like all other manufacturers have yet, they got cold feet about the time frame. Assuming all goes to plan, expect it to roll out by Q2 by the 'quickest'. We all know Samsung has a very dodgy record with regards to software updates, and we hope they have learnt their lessons. But we also know history has a funny way of repeating itself.
