Just when you thought Samsung was done revealing the products during its live stream of the Galaxy Unpacked, the company dropped an unexpected surprise in the shape of the Galaxy Ring; the ring was announced towards the end of the event, but to my surprise, Samsung did not share any details about it.
Samsung confirms that the Galaxy Ring does exist but does not provide any information on it
Galaxy Ring has been in the rumor mill for a lot longer than some of the latest devices that the company has released. Samsung started talking about making many improvements to Samsung Health, and just when you thought that the South Korean tech giant was done, there came the ace in the sleeve - a Galaxy Ring teaser.
Now, it is worth noting that Samsung did not unveil any other details about the upcoming Galaxy Ring, but the company did provide a teaser of what the ring is going to look like. This is not necessarily the first smart ring in the market, as we have seen similar products in the past from other companies. This is just Samsung's take on it, and if you are looking to get into the Samsung ecosystem, this is the right thing to do.
As far as the release date is concerned, we are still not sure when the Galaxy Ring is going to go official, but considering Samsung's release date schedule, we can expect it sometime later this year. Whatever the case, we will be sure to keep you posted on all the details we get the chance to learn about the new smart ring.
