Samsung has just confirmed its ex-Android monster, the Galaxy S and Galaxy tab will be getting the much awaited Gingerbread update starting mid-May, which is now. The update from 2.2 to 2.3 will offer enhanced user experience which includes:
- Faster Performance through making Multimedia apps less CPU intensive and getting more focus on powerful 3D graphics
- Upgraded Usability through better copy-paste function and more intuitive user experience.
The update will be available through Samsung Kies desktop software. It will start from Galaxy S in UK and will gradually spread out to the rest of the world.
