Samsung has recently announced the new Galaxy S24 lineup with a boatload of front-facing additions. Samsung followed Apple in bringing the titanium finish to its latest flagships. The Galaxy S24 series was announced with some pretty exciting features, and the most prominent ones involved AI. The design is similar to last year's flagships, with a few nifty upgrades. Altogether, the Galaxy S24 is a solid upgrade over the Galaxy S23, and AI has much to do with it. Google's Gemini AI will enhance the functionality of various apps in OneUI. The company's different AI models are baked right into OneUI, which will be part of multiple apps in OneUI.

Google's Gemini Pro will power Samsung's Voice Recorder, Notes, and Keyboard apps. It will also allow enhanced summarization features when recording lectures with the Voice Recorder app. Gemini Nano will be part of Google's Messages, bolstering features like Magic Compose and transforming message styles. The best part is that the AI is baked into the device, meaning it will not require an internet connection to work.

Lastly, the Galaxy S24 lineup will also take advantage of Google's Gemini Ultra, which will be available to developers later this year. This shows the following year's Galaxy-branded flagships will feature further AI improvements. Other AI-centric features include Circle to Search, which will act as the Spotlight feature for the Galaxy S24. It can be used to search anything on the device, whether it is an image, video, or text, allowing you to select anything with a simple gesture,

Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 can handle the AI operations on the device. In comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip is closer to Apple's A17 Pro chip in terms of performance. While efficiency and optimizations are a different story, the chip can handle on-device tasks. Google and Samsung have a long-standing partnership with Android as the core connecting link. The companies will work together in the future to bring further enhancements to the AI category. We will share more details on the AI capabilities of the Galaxy S24, so be sure to stick around.
