During today's THQ Nordic Digital Showcase, the publisher announced that Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is getting a remaster, developed by Jumpgate and Sparkling Bit, and it'll be heading for PC and consoles sometime in the future. A release date or even a release window was not announced.
The 2008 action-RPG from Ascaron is getting a new lease on life with this remaster that adds refined combat and gameplay systems, an improved UI, and high-resolution textures. This new version of the game will also include every bit of DLC and update previously released, so players jumping into Sacred 2 for the first time are getting the full experience.
The trailer also boasts that this version of the game was "fixed and polished with our loyal community," which emphasizes how much of a labor of love this remaster looks to be.
While there's no release date in sight, the trailer does confirm that we can expect to see the remaster on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC sometime in the future.
