Arkane’s open-world vampire adventure Redfall had some issues when it launched earlier this year (to say the least), and unfortunately, fixes for a lot of the problems have been slow coming. Thankfully, it seems like some sort of salvation may have finally come for the game. The latest Redfall update, released today, finally delivers much-demanded features like a 60fps Performance mode on Xbox Series X/S (the console version of the game previously only offered a single 30fps mode), improved PC performance, more enemies in the overworld, revamped aiming mechanics, and a lot more. You can get a partial rundown on Redfall title update 2, below.

Sounds like a lot of Redfall’s worst issues have no been resolved. Some may argue it’s too late, but it’s nice to see the effort being made. A number of updates to Redfall’s accessibility features and UI have also been made – you can check out the full, unabridged title update 2 patch notes here.

Redfall can be played on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The new update is out now.
