This is why you shouldn't underestimate your local clearance store, as it can sometimes hide surprisingly valuable products for just a few bucks.

Redditor Snags Sealed-Pack NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti for Just 12 Bucks From a Local Goodwill Outlet Store

Your local clearance store might have a surprise for you, and before you proceed to buy hardware from popular retailers, it's worth checking what your clearance store has in stock. We have seen return warehouses selling expensive hardware for a couple of bucks, and even though it's rare, it does happen. We have another user who managed to snag a powerful piece of hardware for just 12 bucks from his local clearance store.

Redditor u/FunInformation8453 posts that he was able to secure a GeForce RTX 4060 Ti for just $12 at a "bin" store. He clarified that this "bin" store is actually a Goodwill Outlet store that sells unsold items from regular Goodwill stores in bulk. These are usually priced by weight and not on an individual basis. The Redditor posted a pick of his PNY GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, which he claims was sealed-pack.

After deploying on a PC, he confirmed that the GPU indeed works, which is amazing, and we are totally not jealous. The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti might have been discontinued, but the remaining inventory is still available on some retailers. As you can see from the box, this is the 8 GB edition, and the user has also confirmed the same. Despite getting a lower-VRAM edition, he was happy because it's impossible to get this GPU for 12 bucks, as it still sells for nearly $400.

Even after the launch of the RTX 5060 series, the RTX 4060 series still holds up to the demands of modern gaming, and with GPUs getting pricier, it's a big win for the user. That said, if you are looking to upgrade your GPU or any other component, it's always best to check your local clearance stores first to see if you can get cheaper hardware. Occasionally, you may end up getting a good deal even from popular retailers such as Micro Center, which is currently hosting several CPU bundle deals that save you hundreds of dollars.
