It's been some time since we heard news regarding Red Dead Redemption 2, the new open world game currently in development for consoles by Rockstar Games, but it seems like we will be hearing more about the game very soon.

A few minutes ago, a new image has been shared by Rockstar on Twitter, suggesting that something new regarding the game, likely a new trailer, is going to be shared on September 28th at 11:00 AM ET.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was supposed to release this year, but in May, Rockstar confirmed that the game will release in Fiscal Year 2019.

This outlaw epic set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans.

We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready. We are really excited to bring you more details about the game this summer.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will release on a yet to be confirmed date on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
