A tan Noctua-branded gaming mouse with a ventilated shell and side buttons emits a subtle blue LED light in a dark setting.

This might be one of the first branded-gaming mice ever to have an active cooling solution installed inside.

Not More Sweating as Pulsar's Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition Throws Air Directly Into Your Palm While Intense Gaming Sessions

This may be an unusual innovation, but it's practical if you are an avid gamer. Pulsar's Feinmann FO1 got a new edition, which was showcased at Computex, but we never learned its official release date. Now, as we move closer to its launch, Pulsar has listed its core specifications as well as its release date via its official X handle.

The Feinmann FO1 Noctua Edition was originally showcased by Noctua at its booth in May. It's probably one of the first branded gaming mice to feature an active cooling solution using Noctua's NF-A4x10 PWM fan. The company introduced a fan inside the mouse shell that throws air directly into users' hands to prevent sweating. To ensure a high airflow, the mouse shell uses big vents on top that allow continuous airflow through it, ensuring gamers can play for longer periods of time.

As of yesterday, we knew that the mouse uses the NF-A4x10 5V PWM fan, weighs 73 grams, and uses the latest XS-2 sensor, boasting up to 42,000 DPI and an 8 KHz polling rate. Today, we know that the mouse will be launching officially on July 21, 2026. So, we are only five days away from the official launch of the first-ever Noctua fan-equipped gaming mouse that offers a controllable cooling fan for sweat-free gaming sessions.

It's incredible considering Pulsar managed to retain a lightweight design despite cramming a 40mm fan inside it. Of course, the first-edition mouse weighed much lower at just 46 grams, but at 73 grams, the Feinmann FO1 Noctua Edition is still one of the most lightweight solutions. The mouse has also been made a bit bigger due to the inclusion of the fan, but it still offers a compact design that might suit small and medium hands better.

Pulsar is yet to announce the official MSRP of the mouse and the regions where it will be available after the official launch.
