Most importantly, with AI upscaling incorporated in desktop and laptop GPUs, Sony has finally introduced its own version that it calls PSSR, or PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution. In short, the PS5 Pro can produce better image quality while rendering faster framerates, particularly at higher resolutions, making the $101 price cut worth it. Additionally, if you were concerned about needing to make storage upgrades in the future, the PS5 Pro ships with a 2TB SSD as soon as you unbox it.
Unfortunately, you only get a single controller in the box, so if you happen to have another sibling who wants to get into competitive gaming, you might have to make another purchase from Amazon. Fortunately, Sony’s DualSense Wireless Controller is discounted on the online retailer too and is going for $54.99 apiece for the white color.
