Project CARS is stated for a May 8 2015 release, and finally racing fans will get to experience the genre defining new simulator. Touted as a truly realistic racer from its physics to the insane amount of detail and realism  present in everything from the accurately detailed cars to the beautiful environments.

Project CARS at 4K is undoubtedly a visual experience closer to real life than any other racer. Being able to render the game at such a resolution though would surely require quite a beefy setup, with a capable graphics solution.

GameGPU.ru has provided some benchmark results, that can be viewed below:

A variety of setups can provide the power needed to enjoy Project CARS at 4K with playable frame rates. For the time being though the Titan X is the only single GPU that can sustain a rather good experience at 4K. Opting for a dual card solution could prove cheaper in some cases but it can bring with it certain limitations or issues of the SLI or Crossfire configurations.

Still the GTX 970 SLI setup is easily the best value of the lot, and provides a quite good gameplay experience with Project CARS at 4K.
