Princess Peach: Showtime!

Today, Nintendo has announced the release of a free demo for the upcoming Nintendo Switch game Princess Peach: Showtime!, slated to launch on Friday, March 22.

The demo, which can be found on the Nintendo eShop, allows players to experience the Swordfighter Peach and Patissiere Peach transformations for the main character.

Swing, strike, dodge and counterattack as Sword Fighter Peach and cut across an action-packed stage. Then, turn into Patissiere Peach and get ready to whip up an array of delectable desserts to prevent the Sweet Festival from experiencing a serious sugar crash.

Each of Peach’s transformations grant her distinct abilities that she will need to save the plays at Sparkle Theater.

Nintendo also released a new Princess Peach: Showtime! overview trailer, showing even more transformations.

The trailer also revealed that, after completing a floor, players may take part in a rehearsal. Here, they'll be tasked with defeating waves of enemies within the time limit as Sword Fighter Peach and collecting jewels as Dashing Thief Peach. Players should endeavor to avoid taking any damage. If they can get a gold rank, they'll receive an in-game reward, which can be used to change Peach and Stella's outfits from the lobby.

Coinciding with the game's release, Nintendo will launch a set of pastel pink Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers at select retailers and My Nintendo Store at $79.99.
