President Trump wants Intel's CEO to resign

Well, in a twist of events, President Trump has actually called out Intel's CEO to resign, after reports of his ties to Chinese firms.

Intel's CEO Is Now Demanded To Resign By The US President Himself, Causing Massive Uncertainty

Intel isn't having a great time at all, and when the American President speaks against the top-end leadership, it certainly rings some bells. Now at a post on Truth Social, President Trump has demanded Intel's CEO to resign, claiming that he is highly conflicted and there's no other way of solving the issue. This is a serious issue for the American chipmaker, given that CEO Tan recently took over the office, and the firm is going through a series of difficult decisions.

Well, President Trump is demanding the resignation of Intel's CEO mainly because of recent reports on Tan's link with Chinese entities. This matter was particularly fueled when a Republican Senator sent a letter to Intel's board of directors. It seems like Lip-Bu Tan and his earlier ties with Chinese business have now become a mainstream matter, and with President Trump calling for the resignation of Intel's CEO, the company's business uncertainty has become much higher.

For those unaware, Lip-Bu Tan did have a deep-rooted involvement with China, since he had authority over 40 Chinese companies and minority stakes in over 600 firms. While Tan has reportedly divested his positions, the ties with Chinese firms still remain. It isn't entirely illegal for executives to invest in Chinese companies, but since Intel is the face of American chipmaking industry, this does put up a conflict of interest. Now that the CEO position is at jeopardy, Intel's operations could face drastic consequences if the top leadership changes dramatically.

So, what's next for Intel right now? Well, either Intel needs to step up its PR game, or it will face difficulty presenting its narrative to the media. The probable step for Team Blue is for CEO Tan himself to clarify all rumors and ensure that he is working for the American cause.
