To showcase his excitement, he took to the social network to announce that he got these from a Walmart outlet. Unfortunately, whether this revelation resulted from some logistics error or any other issue that transpired, we are confident that this particular retail store will face Apple’s wrath sometime or another.

We expect to see Powerbeats Pro 2 getting announced alongside Apple’s low-cost iPhone SE 4 later today, but before the unveiling, a Reddit user, whose name could not be disclosed as he deleted the account, took to the platform with the post titled ‘Got em.’ Upon further investigation, MacRumors reports that these were present in a cage, and when the excited customer approached a Walmart representative to ask if he could purchase one of these, he was greeted with a ‘yes.’
For whatever reason, we could not get the complete picture of the Powerbeats Pro 2 before the official announcement as the post was taken down. It appears that this specific Walmart likely received a call from Apple, who may have relayed instructions to get the post removed from Reddit. In short, we have to wait for a few more hours to find out the specifications, but from what we have learned, these will ship with Apple’s H2 chip, the same one that is present in the AirPods Pro 2, meaning that wearers should experience better Active Noise Cancellation, which was a feature missing from first-generation Powerbeats Pro.
Better battery life and audio quality could also be a part of the package, with the price expected to be $249. Compared to the AirPods Pro 2, which are currently priced at an incredibly low $169 on Amazon thanks to a 32 percent discount, the Powerbeats Pro 2 will launch at a severe disadvantage. The only possible edge we see these bringing to the table are more color options for the masses and possibly better water resistance, with the wireless earbuds targeted at those who will take these on their daily workout sessions.
