A new PlayStation 5 system software update is now live, bringing performance and stability improvements as well as enhancements for some of the systems features.

The 24.05-09.60.00 system update, which is around 1 GB big, improves some of the system's social features. Players can invite others by sharing a URL to the session. In addition to improving system software performance and stability, the new system software update also updates the device software of some DualSense controllers to improve stability.
