The OLED dominance is clear from the charts, and as more users switch to OLED, the number of shipments is expected to grow drastically every year.

Global OLED Monitor Panel Shipments Increased from 1.95 Million to 3.2 Million Units in 2025; Expected to Exceed 15 Million by 2030

A few years ago, the global OLED monitor panel shipments could hardly reach one million, and now they're already over three million, according to the recent stats shared by the Korean firm, UBI Research. In 2022, the OLED monitor panel shipments remained over half a million units, and in 2024, they increased to nearly 2 million. Keep in mind that we are specifically talking about the OLED shipments for "monitors", and this does not include any other device such as TVs or mobile phones.

The latest data reveal that in 2025, the global shipments for OLED monitor panels crossed 3 million units, marking a staggering 64% growth rate compared to 2024. 3.2 million units shipped in a year alone have already exceeded the predicted numbers as the market grew with newer OLED panel technologies, price drops, and wider adoption. The shipment numbers are expected to continue grow at a steady rate, and it's expected that in 2026, the global OLED monitor panel shipments will reach 5 million units.

This is nearly 56% growth year-over-year, proving that millions of users are now switching to the OLED technology, including gamers and non-gamers. The growth is forecasted to be steady throughout the next 4-5 years, with total shipments expected to cross 15 million units in 2030. Samsung still has the lead in the market, and given its new-gen QD-OLED panel is now being deployed in the latest models, it gives users the choice to have brighter and more color-accurate visuals.

LG, on the other hand, is also seeing a good adoption rate of its newer OLED panels, including the Primary RGB Tandem OLED that delivers superb brightness. Major monitor manufacturers have been constantly bringing out newer OLED monitors, and we are now witnessing a significant growth in adoption in most parts of the world.
