NVIDIA's RTX 50 Series Gaming Laptops From OEMs to Launch For Pre-Orders on 25th February
NVIDIA has announced that the RTX 50 series laptop GPUs will soon be available for pre-order. In an X post, the official handle of NVIDIA GeForce announced that the OEM models shipping with RTX 50 series mobile GPUs can be pre-ordered starting from 25 February.
As far as the official retail launch goes, NVIDIA announced at CES that the RTX 50 series-based laptops will hit the shelves in March. However, it is now allowing users to pre-order these machines from its partners, so they can get their hands on the upcoming laptops as soon as they arrive on the shelves.

Hopefully, it will see a better launch than the discrete RTX 50 GPUs, which saw massively low inventory levels. Just as NVIDIA has announced various classes for the discrete RTX 50 lineup, the laptops will also ship with different RTX 50 mobile GPUs, including RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070. We have already seen some of these GPUs on upcoming gaming laptops from ASUS and MSI, and we are about to see more listings at various retailers, given that official preorder launch date is right around the corner.
The official price tags for RTX 50 gaming laptops should be revealed by OEMs soon. However, we did see the early pricing trends of these models on retailers such as Best Buy and ASUS's website as well so, one can expect the cost of the flagship RTX 5090-based gaming laptop to reach $4,000 or even higher, depending on the overall configuration.
The GPUs can come paired with either Intel Core Ultra 200HX or AMD's Strix Point APUs, depending upon the respective integrators. Both Intel and AMD are about to launch their own premium mobile chips for these high-performance gaming laptops and therefore, laptop manufacturers are likely ready to ship them to the retailers.
