The upcoming Halo game is receiving optimizations ahead of the official launch through the latest hotfix driver.
NVIDIA Fixes Stability Issues in Halo: Campaign Evolved Through Hotfix Driver 610.82; Also Announces Bug Fixes for Path of Exile 2
Halo: Campaign Evolved is Halo Studios' upcoming title in the franchise, which is set to launch in the coming days. However, those who already have the game on their systems through early access are apparently having issues with the title. It's not a very common issue, and we haven't heard about it yet, but since NVIDIA has rolled out a driver update, it is likely a major issue for those who are testing the game.
As per the latest blog post by NVIDIA, the game is reportedly facing "Stability" issues, but it's mostly on the GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards when using a specific NVIDIA driver version. NVIDIA says Game Ready driver version 610.xx is causing the stability issues in the game, but the Hotfix Display Driver 610.82 should fix that. This is available for both Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems and should improve the stability inside the game.
It appears that the latest NVIDIA 610.xx branch is causing issues in multiple games. We recently heard that Battlefield 6 is suffering from crashes with RTX 50 series using the latest NVIDIA drivers. Therefore, Battlefield Studios recommended that users roll back to an older driver version to eliminate the problem. While EA is currently investigating the issue, it isn't clear whether the game itself is causing such an issue or if it is something related to the driver or the GPU.
Keep in mind that the latest hotfix driver specifically fixes issues with Halo: Campaign Evolved, but not Battlefield 6. Moreover, it fixes a bug in Path of Exile 2 that causes intermittent long pauses on systems after long gaming sessions in DX12 mode.
