The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 "Blackwell" GPU lineup will consist of both desktop and laptop SKUs. While the main focus is on the desktop graphics cards, the company is also readying a GPU wave for the laptop segment which will be featured in next-gen designs featuring the latest Intel & AMD CPUs. These laptops are expected to debut by CES 2025.

In a previous leak, we saw that NVIDIA was working on at least six variants within its GeForce RTX 50 "Blackwell" Mobile GPU lineup. These feature brand-new architectures, and most importantly, a brand-new memory interface in the form of GDDR7.

While the specific core configurations are unknown outside of the full GPU configurations that were revealed a while ago, we now have the PCI IDs for these GPUs which point out to each respective variant. A single GPU can have multiple SKUs as such, there are multiple PCI IDs for such parts. The folks over at the PCI ID Repository have managed to decrypt these PCI IDs for each GPU and those are listed below:

As you can tell, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 "Blackwell" GPU lineup for the mobile segment will include RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5060, and RTX 5050 variants. There were rumors of RTX 5080 Ti a few months ago for the laptop segment but it looks like the 5070 Ti will be the 12 GB variant while 5080 and 5090 would feature 16 GB memory and everything below should come with 8 GB of memory.

Interestingly, the GB102 GPU PCI ID is also mentioned and so far, we only know that there's one SKU that will feature this chip and that's the GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. There's a likelihood that this could also be a workstation variant since those are also expected to pack up to a GB102 GPU core but it is very unlikely to see this chip for mobile SKUs due to its size, power, and thermal constraints.

NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, will be presenting the company's keynote at CES 2025, and judging by the leaks, it looks like the focus will be once again on the gaming segment after several months of AI talks by the company. Sure we will hear how AI will benefit the gaming segment but this event will be for the gamers!
