NVIDIA confirmed today that two of the main PC releases due this month, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach by Kojima Productions and Marathon by Bungie, will support the latest second-generation transformer model, NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, via the NVIDIA app override.

Kojima Productions had already confirmed support for NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation (AMD FSR 4 and Intel XeSS 2 are also supported). Now, we know that users will be able to switch the Super Resolution to DLSS 4.5 (which recently beat AMD FSR 4 and even native resolution rendering in a blind test conducted by Computerbase). A dedicated driver will be released closer to launch to optimize Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

The same goes for Bungie's Marathon. The first-person extraction shooter won't support Frame Generation, likely to avoid latency issues in a competitive game, but it will allow users to select DLSS 4.5 via the app to maximize quality and performance. Both Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Marathon also offer NVIDIA DLAA as a native option in the graphics settings.

CAPCOM's Monster Hunter 3 Stories: Twisted Reflection will debut on March 13, with integration for NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution, DLAA, and Reflex. There's no mention of DLSS 4.5 or Frame Generation, though, so don't expect to find those. A demo is available now on Steam, by the way.

NVIDIA also highlighted two indie games that were released years ago: the co-op horror game Demonologist by Clock Wizard Games and the tactical military first-person shooter Black One Blood Brothers by Helios Studio. Both games received significant updates recently: Demonologist was upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.6 and received NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, NVIDIA Reflex, and DLSS Frame Generation support. Moreover, via the NVIDIA app, GeForce RTX 50 Series owners can enable Multi Frame Generation. Similarly, Black One Blood Brothers was updated to Unreal Engine 5.7.2, introducing support for NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution and allowing users to upgrade to DLSS 4.5 via the NVIDIA app.
