NVIDIA's CEO is once again expected to be found in the streets of Taiwan prior to his Computex 2025 keynote, as well as being a host of Taiwan's most important dinner.
NVIDIA's CEO Will Likely Be Found On The Streets of Taiwan Starting From 12 May, Coming With a Jam-Packed Schedule
The vibes around Computex are definitely at peak, especially for us hardware guys, since it is like CES but even better. Last year, we saw NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, pay a visit to Taiwan shortly before the event. Not only did he meet up with important figures like TSMC and MediaTek CEOs, but he also roamed around Taiwan, gobbling up street food on the way.
Interestingly, if you want to take a look at the food tried by Jensen, you can refer to a post from The Daily View Taiwan, where they have jotted down all the places where NVIDIA's CEO had a meal. Jensen's visit holds much more importance this time, and here's why.
The supply chain situation in Taiwan has drastically evolved from last year. This time, the "Made in USA" narrative has taken over the industry, prompting Taiwanese manufacturers to set up facilities in the US. Firms like TSMC, Foxconn, Quanta, and many others have announced investments in the region, and this shows that the supply chain is ultimately transitioning away from Taiwan. NVIDIA, being the center of all trades, needs to readjust its sourcing strategies, which is why Jensen's visit will play a key role in how Team Green manages its supply chain.
NVIDIA's CEO is expected to arrive in Taiwan one week prior to Computex and will hold his iconic dinner with Taiwanese stakeholders on May 17. Then, he'll have his keynote on May 19, so a pretty busy schedule ahead of him. As always, we'll be there on the showfloor this time as well, covering every bit of NVIDIA and Computex, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for exclusive content.
