No Rest for the Wicked Sets 1.0 Date After 2-Year Early Access, Skipping Xbox and Switch 2 at Launch

Austrian developer Moon Studios, known mainly for the Ori franchise, appeared on yesterday's State of Play to announce the 1.0 release date for its top-down action RPG No Rest for the Wicked. The game will launch out of PC early access and debut on PlayStation 5 in October, while Xbox Series S and X and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are also in development, but will be available at a later time. Moon Studios had previously said they might skip Xbox at first due to "market conditions".

No Rest for the Wicked has already received many updates throughout its two-year early access development, including co-op support, but version 1.0 will introduce even more content and features, with the studio promising up to 60 hours of additional gameplay.

Moon Studios is also offering an exclusive and free limited edition Early Access Founder's Pack for anyone who purchases the game on PC prior to July 10. As a Founder member, players will get access to an exclusive Public Beta Test Realm reserved just for them, even after the 1.0 game launch, as well as the following perks:
