The launch of the Nintendo Switch Online Service has been delayed a few months ago. The service will finally launch this September, but details are currently scarce on it. Thankfully, it seems like it won't take long to know more about it.

The Japanese company has recently confirmed that more details on the Nintendo Switch Online Service will be coming in May. We already know about the subscription fees, $19.99 for an annual subscription, $3.99 for a monthly one and $7.99 for a three-month one, and that the service will include a Classic Game Selection, so it will be interesting to see what else Nintendo has in store.

Back in February, Nintendo's now former president Tatsumi Kimishima confirmed that the company will apply substantial resources to the service. Managing Executive Officer Shinya Takahashi also added that the next announcement on the matter will be worth the wait.

The Nintendo Switch Online Service's start date has been confirmed back in January by Tatsumi Kimishima himself.

Next let’s talk about Nintendo Switch Online, the paid subscription service that expands the online functionality of the Nintendo Switch. We reported previously that the service would launch in 2018, and now the official start time has been set to September 2018. Work is progressing on ways to further heighten the gaming experience for consumers. Details will be made available as they are finalized.
