Nintendo is determined to avoid Nintendo Switch 2 scalping by producing enough units to meet consumer demand.

As reported by VGC, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa replied to a question during a recent Q&A session with shareholders regarding the measures the company will put in place to prevent scalping, saying that the main plan is to make sure users don't have to turn to resellers to purchase the console, thus it will make sure that enough consoles will be produced to meet customer demand. Additionally, the company may take other measures depending on the circumstances in each region. Thankfully, Nintendo shouldn't have too many issues producing enough consoles, as the semiconductor shortage that affected the production of the original Switch in the past is no longer an issue.

This isn't the first time we have heard how the Nintendo Switch 2 should be easy to find in stores at launch. Earlier this year, it was estimated from display shipment data that Nintendo should produce over 10 million units in the console's first fiscal year of availability, preventing a Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S situation where all systems were incredibly difficult to find in stores for months and months.

The Nintendo Switch 2 has yet to be officially unveiled, but a full reveal should come before the end of the year. We will keep you updated on the system as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
