CD Projekt Red has confirmed that a new The Witcher 3 PS4 Pro patch is on its way to fix crashing issues that players have been reporting following patch 1.50.
The Witcher 3 recently received its long-awaited PS4 Pro update through patch 1.50, but for some, the excitement was short-lived as the patch caused the game to crash on Sony’s enhanced PS4 console. At first, a message from developer CD Projekt Red suggested that the issue wouldn’t be resolved, but as it turns out: this was simply a miscommunication on the developer’s part.
"This response was simply a miscommunication on our end," the developer wrote to Eurogamer in an email.
"We are aware of the issues some users have been experiencing following the PS4 Pro Patch and we are looking into addressing those as soon as possible."
