New Hands-On Video Shows How the Display Crease on OnePlus Open is Barely Noticeable

Even though we are almost at the brink of this year, we still have some great phones to look forward to, with the OnePlus Open being one of them. Recently, we got the confirmation that the new foldable from OnePlus and the OPPO Find N3 are the same device, and both devices will be going official soon. Now, we have a hands-on video showing the new foldable and how good it is when it comes to handling the crease.

The OnePlus Open/OPPO Find N3 might as well be the most durable foldable phones in the market

A YouTuber named Jagat review has posted a hands-on video of the OnePlus Open, and it shows that the phone does not have a massive crease that is noticeable. It is surely there, but the situation is not as bad as the Galaxy Z Fold 5, which is also shown in the video. You can look at the video below to have a better understanding.

Looking at the video, you get to see the OnePlus Open from multiple angles, and although the camera island is still hidden, we all know how it looks thanks to previous leaks. You can further look at the display of the device in the pictures below to have a clear look.

OnePlus Open on the left, Galaxy Z Fold 5 on the right

As you can see in the image above, although the OnePlus Open has a crease, it is not nearly as visible as the one we see on the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Of course, one can blame the lighting for this, too. So, we will have to wait and see how it turns out when the phone is actually available in the market.

The new OnePlus Open will bring a smaller hinge than the Find N2, and it will also have fewer components, contributing to better durability. The expected release date of new foldable phones is October 19th, later this month. So, we will be sure to keep you posted when the phones are finally out.
