The internet has been abuzz with iPhone rumors lately. These include a possible launch date for the smartphone, which almost seems to be confirmed at this stage (though not officially). The iPhone 6, according to rumors is expected to be launched at September 19th this year. The claim comes from the Chinese site Tencent which also co-ordinates with German carrier Dutch Telekom's estimates of the date. Apple is known to launch its iPhone models on Fridays, with both the iPhone 5c and 5s being launched on September 20th, which was also a Friday. Another rumor straight out of China now provides us with more details related to the iPhone 6. Apple might release a 128 GB variant of the smartphone but this will only be available in the 5.5'' screen size.

Rumors Claim 5.5" iPhone 6 Variant To Come In 128 GB Storage. 64 GB 4.7" Variant To Cost $ 1000
Chinese blog feng.com has some new details related to the upcoming iPhone 6. The blog cites reports from Apple's supply chain and claims that Apple is to add a high profile version of the iPhone 6 which will come with storage of 128 GB. However this 128 GB will be limited only to the 5.5 inch model. Apple is also to reportedly abandon the 16 GB option on the iPhone, with the 4.7" variants to come with storage sizes of 32 and 64 GB. Currently, the maximum storage size on the iPhone is 64 GB. The iPad Air and iPad Retina do come in sizes of 128 GB however. The inclusion of the 128 GB option in the larger sized iPhone will veritably transform it into a phablet. Analysts also suggest that Apple will also choose to further differentiate the two models through optical image stabilization technology being offered in the larger variant.
Additionally, tencent also claims to have details regarding the pricing of the iPhone 6 4.7 inch variants. The 32 GB variant is expected to cost around 5288 Yuan or $ 850 and the 64 GB variant is to cost around 6288 Yuan or around $ 1000. The iPhone 6 is expected to be completely different from the current models and is expected to come with a faster A8 processor and the latest iOS 8.
