One worry on everybodys minds was that would Microsoft's upcoming addition to the XBOX 360 project Natal would be able to discern between genders?
at the Think Next conference held yearly by Microsoft, Natal was demonstrated to show that it indeed can tell the difference between a man and a woman mainly in the video notice how the women is glowing in green in the demonstration and how the man next to her is in blue? this proves that Natal is indeed intelligent enough to tell apart male from female! Project Natal views and recognizes humans, detects the actual gender (via Natal's facial recognition software), distance, and the various movements.
