MSI's 32" 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor Lineup Gets Significant Updates, Now Offering Deepest Blacks & Uniform Luminance

At CES 2026, MSI is introducing two brand new 32" QD-OLED gaming monitors, the MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 and MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24. Both of these monitors feature the latest 5-layer Tandem OLED architecture with EL Gen 3 technology, offering some of the best luminous efficiency and longevity in the market.

In terms of specifications, the MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 and MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24 can be seen as an update to the existing 32" lineup with better panels. Both models retain a refresh rate of up to 240Hz at 4K resolution, and also offer similar IO with DP 2.1 (80 Gbps) support. The main difference comes in the form of the panel, which has been updated with two new features, DarkArmor Film & Uniform Luminance.

DarkArmor Film: This specialized film technology is designed to enhance light absorption and eliminate the distracting purple or reddish tints often visible on standard QD-OLEDs under ambient light. It boosts pure black levels by up to 40%, significantly improving contrast and delivering superior image performance. Furthermore, it upgrades the screen surface hardness from 2H to 3H, offering 2.5x better scratch resistance to effectively withstand daily wear and tear.

Uniform Luminance: To address the jarring brightness shifts often found in standard HDR, this feature allows users to customize the HDR brightness curve. By correlating specific brightness levels to different display window sizes, it ensures a stable and smooth brightness experience across various usage scenarios.

The MPG model is further rocking MSI's AI Care Sensor, which is part of its OLED Care 3.0 feature suite. This adds an NPU-based IC for proactive panel protection, which we have covered on their recent OLED Care 3.0 designs. MSI hasn't shared the pricing or availability yet, but will share more details in the coming months.
