MSI Launches Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu Edition GeForce RTX 5080 OC; Only 500 Units Available for the EU Region
Popular hardware and GPU manufacturer, MSI, has launched a new GeForce RTX 5080 edition inspired by the upcoming Star Wars movie. The Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu GeForce RTX 5080 OC edition will launch in the EU region as a collector edition with only 500 units available. MSI is going to sell it only in the EU as a special launch and has shared some unique features of the GPU.
The Mandalorian and Grogu-inspired RTX 5080 will boast aesthetics that will represent Din Djarin's iconic armor. It offers a premium backplate that showcases the Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu accents, as well as the Mandalorian's mask on the side. The GPU is a triple-fan card that resembles the RTX 5080 16G Gaming TRIO edition, but has a different color scheme, featuring brown and grey accents.
The GPU will also ship with a Grogu inspired VGA holder that will keep the GPU sag at bay and compliments the GPU's style. As far as the design goes, MSI says that the backplate of the GPU is customizable. There will be four interchangeable plates for the backplate, including Mandalorian's helmet, Grogu, the New Republic, and the Imperial Remnants emblem.
MSI says that this will be a limited edition and only 500 GPUs will be made. These will be available only in the EU countries, and will start selling via select retail partners starting May 22, 2026, the date on which The Mandalorian and Grogu is releasing in theatres. The GPU will also be available on the MSI ecommerce store, but the company hasn't shared any details on the pricing yet.
