MSI Introduced MEG VISION X AI Desktop and EdgeXpert MS-C931 Supercomputer for Intensive Workloads; Also Revealed Innovative AIOs and PCI-E 5.0 SSDs
The MSI booth at Computex was filled with innovative products this year, and we had an opportunity to see what's new in its catalog. MSI isn't just interested in the mainstream consumer segment but is now also offering budget solutions for enterprises and small businesses.
Like other popular vendors, MSI has also introduced its own compact and powerful supercomputer based on NVIDIA's DGX Spark platform. It's called the EdgeXpert MS-C931, which is powered by NVIDIA's GB10 Grace Blackwell GPU. The system brings the NVIDIA NVLink-C2C CPU-GPU interconnect, which offers up to 450 GB/s of bandwidth per direction.
Equipped with 128 GB LPDDR5X unified system memory and 1000 AI TOPs of AI performance, it's ready to power a full-stack software solution, making it ideal for developers while requiring much less space than a standard desktop. Those who crave more powerful graphical performance can choose the MEG Vision X AI 2nd instead, which is an excellent high-end desktop powered by the Core Ultra 9 285K and GeForce RTX 5090.
The desktop boasts a unique design with its front panel featuring a dedicated large touchscreen for AI HMI to have control over essential widgets. This screen helps control MSI gaming monitors through your fingertips as well, providing functionality you probably haven't heard of. That said, its core specs will ensure you get the best possible gaming performance out of the box and offer the latest connectivity features for your daily needs.
In case you are in search of innovative cooling solutions, MSI has also unveiled a few of them at Computex. The most notable one is the MEG CoreLiquid E13 360, which brings an unusually large 6-inch LCD display on the CPU block. It can be rotated via the POGO-Pin connector and serves as a secondary display for your system. This cooler brings a 360mm radiator with high-performance thermal compound and fans for intensive CPU operations.
Then we have the MPG CoreLiquid P13 360 AIO, which also comes with a customizable 2.1" LCD and offers a UNI Bracket to support Intel and AMD platforms for faster installation. The mounting bracket for this one has an EZ CAP screw cover and boasts a minimalist design that looks both gorgeous and cleaner in design.
MSI's SSD segment received VORTIQ and SPATIUM SSDs, aimed at both consumer and enterprise segments. These are 2.5" and PCI-E 5.0 NVMe SSDs that deliver up to 530/500 MB/s and 14,000/8,700 MB/s of sequential read/write speeds, respectively. The Spatium M571 is for the client segment, which offers up to 14,800/14,000 MB/s of seq. Read/Write speeds and is available in up to 4 TB capacity.
