The Mortal Kombat game series was a total disappointment in the PS2 version, not one game bought back the 90's nostalgia of the early Mortal Kombat games, well the game is getting a 3rd generation console make over in the form of a beautiful make over.

from what I can deduce from the trailer we can see the return of environment and pit fatalities, awesome combos involving weapons, tag team gameplay and even MORE gory fatalities. This game is a definite on my to look out for list for E3 2010.
The game is definitely headed for Microsoft XBOX 360 and Sony PlayStation 3
