More and more vendors are releasing Wildcat Lake-based systems, and MINIX is the latest vendor to launch a Wildcat Lake-based mini PC.

MINIX Debuts N304-AI Mini Host, Powered by Core 3 304 Processor, Providing up to 15 TOPS of AI Power

Chinese hardware maker MINIX has released its latest mini host, featuring the Intel Wildcat Lake platform. The mini host is called the N304-AI mini, which is powered by the Intel Core 3 304 processor. The Core 3 304 processor is the weakest in the Core Ultra Series 3 lineup, featuring a 1+4-core configuration. It's based on the same Cougar Cove Performance and Darkmont LP-E cores as found on its bigger siblings and the Panther Lake chips.

Intel Core 3 304 can provide up to 15 TOPS of INT8 AI power, which makes it suitable for entry-level AI systems for running AI workloads locally. The chip can boost up to a good 4.3 GHz and operates at just 15W of TDP. Alongside the CPU, users will be able to leverage the power of its integrated graphics, which boasts 2x Xe3 cores and offers up to 9 TOPS of AI power.

As far as other specs are concerned, the N304 AI Mini Host features an integrated 16 GB LPDDR5X memory clocked at 6400 MT/s and has a 512 GB PCIe Gen 3.0 SSD storage. This positions it in the entry-level segment, ideal for the masses who want to carry out day-to-day operations like web surfing, MS Office, Photoshop, local AI workloads, etc.

For connectivity, it brings a WiFi 6 adapter that supports high-speed wireless internet connectivity as well as Bluetooth 5.3 for wirelessly connecting to peripherals and BT devices. Users will find Windows 11 Pro pre-installed on the system, and they will have the latest HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 ports for display output. However, the most notable feature of the N304 AI Mini Host is the availability of dual 1 G LAN ports for stable wired internet connectivity.
