The new Mini PC looks like a small version of the PlayStation 5 console, but it is much more powerful when it comes to performance.
Minisforum Launches AtomMan G1 Pro Mini PC for Gamers and Creators, Delivering up to 245W of Power to the CPU-GPU Combo
Popular mini PC maker Minisforum has launched a new powerful mini PC that looks like a PlayStation 5 console, but it's much more compact than the latter. Measuring just 3.8L, the AtomMan G1 Pro is a compact powerhouse that caters to the demands of gamers and content creators. AtomMan G1 Pro uses a while chassis that brings a 350W power supply to deliver sufficient power to the hardware, enabling users to push the performance to the max.
The mini PC uses a powerful CPU-GPU combo to ensure gamers don't have to compromise on the gaming performance. This might not be the smallest mini PC to bring the GeForce RTX 5060, but it's surely small enough to carry around while offering desktop-level performance without needing much space on the desk. At its core lies the Zen 4-based Ryzen 9 8945HX processor, which is a 16-core/32-thread high-performance chip for intensive workloads.
It's paired with the GeForce RTX 5060 desktop GPU that can be pushed to its full potential as it's allowed to draw up to 145W of power. For both CPU+GPU, the mini PC can provide up to 245W of combined power through the "Beast Mode" to ensure maximum performance in gaming/non-gaming tasks, but there are two more modes to choose from according to needs. These are the Gaming and Office modes, capped at 225W and 205W, respectively.
To ensure the hardware can deliver consistent performance on full load, the AtomMan G1 Pro uses the 3rd-gen Glacier Cooling system, enough to handle 300W of thermal load. It uses five copper heat pipes, 3600 RPM silent fans, and a two-sided exhaust design to dissipate the heat continuously. For connectivity, you will find a single USB-C and USB-A ports at the front along with an audio jack. At the rear I/O, it brings dual USB Type A ports, a single Type C port, a few HDMI and DP ports, and a 5G LAN port.
For RAM and storage, it comes with a single configuration, bringing 32 GB RAM and a 1 TB SSD for storage. However, users can expand the RAM up to 96 GB using SO-DIMM modules and can also upgrade the storage up to 8 TB using 2x 4 TB NVMe SSDs. The Minisforum AtomMan G1 Pro is priced at 9,889 Yuan or US$1428, and is currently available on JD for purchase.
