The Apple iPhone 17 Air remains the undisputed star of today's "Awe Dropping" event, featuring a refreshingly new design that screams luxury and evokes the kind of premium feel that Apple is known for. Despite its slim design, the phone's battery can outlast a day, thanks to the new MagSafe battery pack.

The primary concern around the Apple iPhone 17 Air, even before its formal launch, revolved around its supposedly limited battery life, courtesy of an ultra-slim frame that does not leave much room for an ample battery pack.

Well, Apple has tried to eke out some extra juice from the in-built battery of the iPhone 17 Air by leveraging the ultra-efficient A19 Pro chip, and pairing it with the equally efficient N1 wireless networking chip and CX1 modem.

Yet, to take things to the proverbial max, Apple has also introduced a MagSafe battery pack for the iPhone 17 Air, which adds 65 percent additional battery capacity to the slim iPhone model, allowing for a whopping 40-hour video playback time. The new MagSafe battery pack from Apple supports 12W fast-charging, and features an intelligent battery management system that optimizes the battery pack's use.

If you pair the MagSafe battery with a 20W charger, you would be able to charge your Apple iPhone 17 Air even faster. Priced at just $99, the new MagSafe battery pack from Apple will be available for purchase starting this Friday.
