MAINGEAR Intros MG-1 Gaming Desktop With Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition, Up To GeForce RTX 5090, and Up To 128 GB DDR5 Memory

Popular system integrator, MAINGEAR, has introduced the MG-1 gaming desktop with new configuration, consisting of the recently launched AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition. The MG-1 lineup already has plenty of configurations, including processors and GPUs from popular vendors like Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD, but with the launch of Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, the system has now received another configuration that sits at the top in the hierarchy.

MAINGEAR MG-1 is already available with existing flagship processors like AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, and with the addition of Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, the company claims that to have built the fastest gaming PC ever. Moreover, the MG-1 is now claimed to have many more upgrades, including support for motherboards with connectors at the back, improved front panel with stronger magnets for a more secure attachment, and better cooling.

The new configuration will utilize AMD's Dual 3D V-Cache chiplet-powered Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, which brings a total of 208 MB cache, which recently launched for $899. We have seen how it performs against its smaller siblings, and the MG-1 will pair it with various GPUs such as up to GeForce RTX 5090 and the Radeon RX 9070 XT for premium gaming experience. The CPU will be cooled by a 360mm AIO cooler to ensure the processor can run at its maximum potential without thermal throttling, and through triple 140mm fans installed at the front, the MG-1 will be able to cool the hardware faster.

The configuration will include memory capacity of up to 128 GB DDR5 clocked at 6000 MT/s, and will support up to six NVMe M.2 SSDs for a massive storage capacity. Connectivity will include up to 10 GbE LAN, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. At the front panel, users will find a single USB Type A port, a 20 Gbps Type C port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones.

MAINGEAR says that the pre-configured and fully custom MG-1 builds start at $1,999, but the flagship configuration won't likely cost any lower than $9,000-$10,000, considering some existing configurations already cost up to $8,299 with Ryzen 9 9950X3D, GeForce RTX 5090, 64 GB RAM, and 2 TB Gen 5.0 SSD. The MG-1 starts at $1,249 for entry-level specs, including Ryzen 5 9600X and RTX 5050, and there are dozens of configurations to choose from on the official website.
