Intel's Core Ultra 200S Plus was released a few days ago, and several OEMs have already started preparing refreshed versions of laptops and desktops with the new chips. MAINGEAR is one of them, offering both Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus processors under the MG-1 desktop lineup. The MAINGEAR MG-1 lineup will feature three different configurations, offering the newer chips coupled with NVIDIA's RTX 50 series GPUs.

The first one is the MG-1 Emerald, offering the Intel Core Ultra 5 250K Plus, a newer 18-core chip, paired with the popular mid-range GPU, the GeForce RTX 5070. The system uses the MG-1 black mid-tower, offering pre-installed 120mm RGB fans, an MAINGEAR EPIC 360 AIO cooler for the processor, an MSI Z890 Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard, and the latest connectivity. The Emerald as well as the other two configurations utilize a 32 GB RAM + 2 TB SSD combo, enabling users to maximize gaming/productivity performance from the very beginning.

The MG-1 Sapphire is next in the lineup, delivering the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor, paired with the GeForce RTX 5080 for enthusiasts. The MG-1 Amethyst is the flagship configuration, offering the same processor but paired with the GeForce RTX 5090 GPU to deliver frame rates in triple digits. All three systems offer similar specifications, but the Amethyst is powered by a higher capacity MSI 1250W 80+ Gold power supply.

All systems are now available for purchase from the official website at the following prices:

  1. MG-1 Emerald: $2,549
  2. MG-1 Sapphire: $3,549
  3. MG-1 Amethyst: $5,199
