AT&T may have accidentally leaked the M5 iPad Pro

Apple’s M5 iPad Pro was recently a part of an unboxing video that happened before the product’s official announcement, which suggested that the updated tablet range was ready to be shipped to multiple regions. More evidence that the flagship slate is nearing launch came in the form of an AT&T listing that was visible on the carrier’s website for a brief moment, then taken down. Whether this was a mistake on the company’s part or an elaborate plan to get potential buyers prepared for the release, we cannot confirm.

A separate report hints that AT&T’s brief listing of the M5 iPad Pro might have been an SEO play

Both the M5 iPad Pro and M5 MacBook Pro have been in the leak spotlight for several days, which only means that Apple will be putting up their press releases in the near future. As for the latest set of evidence that highlights the tablet’s arrival, MacRumors reports that the listing read ‘Shop Apple iPad Tablets: iPad Pro M5 Pre-Order Soon,’ with even a screenshot given at the bottom.

Unfortunately, upon further inspection, we found that there were no product listings for the M5 iPad Pro on AT&T’s website, but this blunder, or deliberate act, is solid confirmation that Apple’s newest slates could be announced at any time. The Apple-centric outlet reports that this accidental leak could be a premature SEO tactic from AT&T to get as many eyeballs on its website for those who intend to upgrade to the M5 iPad Pro, but since the leak has vanished, the carrier’s intentions cannot be deduced.

From the previous unboxing video, it was revealed that the M5 iPad Pro does not offer a whole lot of compute performance gains over the M4 iPad Pro, but the GPU side of things saw the biggest difference with a 34 percent delta when running AnTuTu.
