LEGO Harry Potter Collection Remaster Announced for October 8

During the Back to Hogwarts 2024 Showcase, Warner Bros. Games announced the LEGO Harry Potter Collection, a remaster of 2010's LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1–4 and 2011's Lego Harry Potter: Years 5–7. Priced at $39.99, it will include both games as well as two DLCs: a Character Pack featuring Godric Gryffindor, Harry (Yule Ball), Helga Hufflepuff, Lockhart (Straightjacket), Luna (Lion Head), Peeves, Hermione (Pink Dress), Ron Weasley (Ghoul), Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin, as well as a Spell Pack featuring Cantis, Densaugeo, Ducklifors, Melofors, and Tentaclifors. The game is set to launch on October 8 digitally for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 is based on the first four films - Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - and allows fans to experience his first four years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in full LEGO form.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 takes players through the final four films - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 & 2 - to experience Harry's final years at Hogwarts and his battle against Lord Voldemort in the ultimate struggle against evil.

In the remastered version of LEGO Harry Potter Collection, developed by Double Eleven, players will find enhancements like 60 FPS, native 4K resolution, haptic feedback for the DualSense controller, and high-resolution shadow maps.

During the Back to Hogwarts Showcase, Warner Bros. Games also premiered a new trailer for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, which is out tomorrow on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), with a Nintendo Switch version slated for later this year. The game's regular price is $29.99, but PlayStation Plus members who redeem it for their library between September 3 and 30 can keep it for free.

By the way, Hogwarts Legacy is currently available at a 70% discount on digital stores across platforms.
