With Apple Pay having officially been rolled out, many consumers have started to adapt Apple's mobile payment system and conduct transactions without directly involving their credit card details. With Apple Pay, all you have to do is enter your card details in your iPhone once and the rest will be taken care by a Device Account Number which will be used by your device to conduct transactions. But what if loose your iPhone and need to remove your card details from Apple Pay? Well, that can be done in a few easy steps, and we'll show you how.
Remove Your Credit Card Details From Apple Pay In A Few Steps.
So in order to remove your data from Apple's servers, first you're going to need to go to iCloud.com. After you've opened the page, head over to the Settings menu by clicking on the gray icon.
If you look underneath the credit card number, you'll see an option to remove the details all together. If you click on it, you'll see a confirmation message pop up asking you to confirm the action. It also tells you that you can add your details again through Passbook if the need arises and that it might take up to 30 seconds to remove your card information. This is probably due to the various networks your card information has to go through.
