If we talk about the history of Intel's efforts to optimize Starfield's gaming experience, it's safe to say that the new 31.0.101.4887 version is the most significant of them all. Based on the statistics released by Intel, the Arc GPUs are going to receive a huge performance boost at Starfield, reaching up to 149% performance uplifts. Apart from Starfield, the driver also brings a major performance bump at F1 23, which shows Team Blue's dedication to enhancing the gaming experience for its users.

- F1 23 (DX12)
- Up to 12% uplift at 1440p with Ultra High settings
- Up to 136% uplift at 2160p with Ultra High settings
Moreover, the new driver brings support for Intel's highly-awaited Arc A580, which is regarded as a great entry for the budget segment. Despite seeing an announcement almost a year ago, the GPU was nowhere to be found, which sparked rumors of cancellation. However, Intel's Arc A580 is now officially launched, and it will see a warm welcome in the sub $200 US market, courtesy of the huge driver update Team Blue has pushed out alongside the GPU release.
