Jonsbo has unveiled its latest SSD cooling solution designed for Gen5 storage solutions, offering some insane cooling capabilities.
Jonsbo's Latest M.2-7 SSD Cooler For Gen5 SSDs Guarantees Optimal Performance, Credits To Its Large Active Solution
Jonsbo isn't new in this segment, as the firm previously unveiled "sort of an unnecessary" DDR5 cooling product with flashy white looks.
In the era of blazing-fast Gen5 SSDs, the need for an adequate cooling solution is rising; apparently, the pre-included motherboards' M.2 heatsinks aren't enough for consumers. In light of this, Jonsbo has unveiled a somewhat "beefier" M.2 cooling product, aiming to provide the best performance results with today's fastest storage solutions.
Moving on to the features, the M.2-7 SSD cooler comes with an aluminum alloy heatsink featuring dual heat pipes along with thermal pads that cover both sides. This not only allows efficient heat dissipation but also provides users with more extended durability since the pads are made of conductive silicone. The dual heat pipes ensure that no matter how speedy the onboard SSD is, it would be no match for the M.2-7 cooler. The cooler is compatible with both single-sided and dual-sided drives.
For the onboard fan, Jonsbo's M.2-7 SSD cooler comes with a 25 x 25 x 10mm fan with a rotation speed of a whopping 10,000 RPM. It also has several other air-revolving features, such as a static air pressure of 3.08mmH2O, which makes the dissipation process a whole lot more effective. Moreover, you wouldn't need to worry about noise as well since Jonsbo rates the noise levels at 25.9 dB, which is indeed in the optimal range, not too high and quiet. However, we have seen that some active cooling solutions produce a lot of whine when running at maximum RPM modes.
Jonsbo hasn't revealed the pricing or release date of their M.2-7 cooler yet, and neither have they confirmed regional availability. One thing is for sure with Gen5 SSDs getting faster rapidly, the need for such cooling solutions is also increasing. We recently reported how 14.8 GB/s SSDs are on the horizon and those could definitely use some high-end cooling solutions like these.
