According to a handful of complaints on the Apple Support Community, Reddit, and X, the audio that users are streaming from their iPhone 16e to a Bluetooth speaker cuts out periodically. At this point, it is unclear how widespread the issue is, but based on the number of complaints, it has affected a vast number of users. Some users have also suggested that updating to iOS 18.3.2 does not help fix the issue despite the update being released earlier this week to the public.
Apple is currently testing iOS 18.4, and the update has reached its third beta cycle, but there are no indications that it includes a fix for the Bluetooth issue on the iPhone 16e. iOS 18.4 is expected to be released in April, bringing a boatload of new changes and bug fixes to the table. Apple will potentially add the fix in subsequent beta builds if it has not already done so.
