The Apple iPad Pro Lineup Receives Its Biggest Shakeup as Far as Price Reduction Is Concerned
On Apple’s website, it looks like the company’s iPad Air 2 is now available in the 32 GB and 128 GB storage options, and is retailing for $399 and $499, respectively. The 9.7-inch slate was once the most powerful tablet of its time, and was easily able to thwart the Nexus 9, which was the most powerful Android tablet at the time. Looking at the storage upgrade, we’d definitely say that you look into this purchase. As for the company’s iPad mini 4, the same storage models carry the same price tags as the ones mentioned above.
However, it is the iPad mini 2 that appears to be deprecated, and it’s being offered in a single 32GB model for the price of $269. It is great to see that Apple is giving the same treatment to its tablets the way it’s given to its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. To be honest, it’s high time that 16GB storage models were removed from the shelf altogether. Such minuscule amount of storage should honestly not be a part of any lineup, unless of course there’s an option to expand that storage.
