Apple has released iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, macOS 15.4, and visionOS 2.4 beta 4 with Apple Intelligence enhancements to developers
If you are a registered developer, you can download and install the latest beta on your iPhone or iPad from the Settings app. All you have to do is head over to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and install the latest build. Before you do so, make sure your Apple ID is connected to your Developer Account so you can receive the update over the air. The process to downloading and installing iPadOS 18.4 is the same, so don’t be alarmed.
Apple has delayed one of the biggest Apple Intelligence features, which was expected to arrive with the iOS 18.4 update. It was initially reported that the feature would be available with iOS 18.5, but the company has now confirmed it will be seeded with iOS 19 next year. Nonetheless, iOS 18.4 will still be a major update, considering the number of features it will bring to the table, including the Apple News+ Food section for Apple News+ subscribers, Priority Notifications, and much more.
As for macOS 15.4, you can download the latest beta from the Software Update section in System Settings. Again, you must ensure your Apple ID and Developer Account are connected to receive the update over the air. macOS 15.4 will also introduce the same Apple Intelligence enhancements, along with improvements to the Mail app.
Apple has also released visionOS 2.4 beta 4 to developers, so be sure to check that out as well. iOS 18.4 is now at its fourth beta cycle, and it could be released next week unless developers require more time to fix the underlying issues. If so, we can expect the updates to arrive in the first week of April. Considering Apple has delayed its Personalized Siri feature for the iPhone, we can expect the updates to arrive next week, but since the final word rests with Apple, do take the news with a grain of salt.
