The Yoga Air 14 Ultra Aura will be available in various configurations, offering budget and high-end Panther Lake SKUs.

Lenovo Yoga Air 14 Ultra Aura to Utilize Core Ultra X9 378H Processor; Laptop Goes On Pre-Order

Unlike the flagship Panther Lake SKU, the Core Ultra X9 388H, the Ultra X9 378H remains invisible in the market. However, Lenovo has just begun using this SKU in one of its premium laptops. As reported by @realVictor_M, the company is set to deploy the Core Ultra X9 378H (Not Ultra X7 378H) in the Yoga Air 14 Ultra Aura, a new laptop lineup, which will be available in various configurations.

The laptop will utilize various Panther Lake, aka Core Ultra Series 3 CPUs, but its most notable addition is the Ultra X7 378H, which remains absent on laptops. This is why the Yoga Air 14 Ultra Aura might be the first one to use this chip, which is essentially a slightly nerfed Ultra X9 388H chip. The processor features the same 16-core/16-thread configuration as the 388H, but features a 100 MHz lower boost clock.

It brings the same 4+8+4 core configuration and an iGPU featuring 12 Xe3 cores. So, it's a premium device that will sell for a premium price tag. However, the listed price appears to be a placeholder. The price tag of 99,999 Yuan or US$14,722 is just too high. Not even RTX 5090-equipped laptops cost this much. The listing appears to be on JD.com, which is a popular online retailer in China, and it uses a ¥99,999 placeholder price before the official price is unveiled.

The pre-order has begun, and users can reserve the laptop before it starts shipping. As you can see, the Ultra X9 378H isn't the only SKU available for this laptop. Various Panther Lake chips will power this device, including entry-level, mid-range, and high-end SKUs such as Core Ultra 5 325, which is an 8-core chip with no Efficient cores, Core Ultra 5 338H, Core Ultra X7 358H, and will also be available in a FIFA limited edition.

It appears that Ultra X9 388H won't be used for this laptop, but the performance difference won't be significant anyway. The Yoga Air 14 Ultra Aura will be a lightweight, compact device, featuring a 14-inch display, and will be quite thin. Apart from the processor specs, the page reveals that the laptop will feature 32 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, but detailed specifications are unknown.
